Kirsty is the effervescent, irreplaceable, un-put-downable heart and soul of the embassy. She questions nothing, does everything that is asked from her and enjoys everything she does. Kirsty is perky and a little bit ‘blonde’, but blessed with remarkable insight into the human psyche – especially when it comes to affairs of the heart.
Kirsty is pretty much the only one who does any legitimate work round the consulate. She also knows everything that is going on and is quite happy to use her knowledge to stir things up a bit – just to keep herself amused.
Currently studying towards an Arts degree majoring in English and Politics, Hannah Marshall has achieved some impressive screen credits over the last two years.
Landing the regular role of Kimberley in the TV One series Burying Brian, Hannah also had a feature role as Vicki Van Horton in the New Zealand children’s series Amazing Extraordinary Friends. In 2007 she played Beth Wilson on Shortland Street - a character eventually killed off in the show’s notorious serial killer storyline. Hannah starred in the film Reckless Behaviour: Caught on Tape that same year.
When Hannah left school she spent a year in Germany as an au pair and on returning to New Zealand, began a conjoint degree (Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Commerce) at university. Acting soon became top priority when she chose not to complete her conjoint and joined the cast of the theatre production Milo’s Wake in 2006.
